Kirkland Signature Sauvignon Blanc
Although Kirkland branded wines may not be considered “fine wine,” they certainly have their time and place. This Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough New Zealand’s Ti Point Winery under the Kirkland Signature branding is very good. It has the smooth, crisp, and clean flavors of citrus and green bell peppers one expects from this region. Although this does not outshine the higher end examples, it is a great value choice that delivers everything one expects of this style. For those summer gatherings, larger dinners, or just an easy going glass of wine, this is an excellent choice. This pairs particularly well with summer salads, grilled chicken breast, and seafood such as shrimp and cod.
