Aperol Spritz

Overview

Sun is out. A warm breeze blows through your hair. Birds chirp. The smell of fresh cut grass.

Summer is coming, and we just can’t wait.

A cocktail classic, this beautiful Italian spritz is a great way to enjoy life while you soak up the sun. Its a wine-based cocktail that originated in Venice served with digestive bitters and soda water. In this case, Aperol is the bitter!

I don’t know about you, but I could easily knock back a few of these bad boys.

Ingredients (~1 Drink)

• 2 oz of Aperol

• 3 oz of Prosecco

• Top with club soda (or more Prosecco…)

• Olive and / or orange to garnish

Steps

• Pour 2 oz Aperol over ice in a glass

• Add 3 oz of Prosecco

• Top with a splash of club soda

• Stir and garnish with some olives and / or a slice of orange.

• Enjoy!
