Ah yes, the great mistake.

Legend has it, the Negroni Sbagliato (‘mistaken Negroni’) was born when a bartender grabbed a bottle of prosecco instead of gin when making a classic Negroni. That little mistake was the creation of this exquisite summer cocktail.

Isn’t there a lesson in life for all of us.

This delicious drink is perfect for warmer weather - lower alcohol content with a lighter mouthfeel from the prosecco makes it go down a little to easily.

We may be late to the TikTok trend. As the saying goes - “its better to be late than never”.

 

Ingredients (~1 Drink)

  • 1.5 oz of Campari

  • 1.5 oz of Sweet Vermouth

  • Top with Prosecco…

  • 1 blood orange

Steps

  • Pour 1.5 oz Campari in a glass over ice

  • Add 1.5 oz of Sweet Vermouth

  • Top with a nice Prosecco

  • Stir and garnish with slice of blood orange

    • Rather than a slice, you can use a blood orange peel twist!

  • Enjoy!
