This Ontario Cabernet-Merlot blend misses the mark

A simple wine that is dominated by notes of cherries and rose petals, with a slight vanilla on the finish. The flavours seem much lighter than the body of the wine, and the flavours are fleeting. There is a harshness to this wine as well in its finish that I can’t seem to place. Unfortunately this wine is disappointing and would recommend avoiding it. There are many other options at this price point or below that would likely be more satisfying.
