A chardonnay from Argentina that offers outstanding value and flavor. Bright notes of lemon, white florals, and a hint of baked apple. A slight apricot flavor comes in on the finish. The wine’s near perfect balance is immediately noticeable, drawing you in for another taste almost immediately after the last. This wine is fantastic now but has the backbone to cellar for a few more years, which should develop some further baked fruit flavors. For food pairings, this works well with seafood dishes such as baked cod, shrimp, and grilled calamari. It can also work with chicken, pork chops, or in our case, with a fresh roasted turkey. Overall this is a very delicious and versatile wine that overdelivers at its price point.
