2019 Quinta De Bons Ventos Lisboa VR
Everyone needs a great go to bottle that won’t break the bank, and this is certainly one of them. For those that like something that is smokey, with flavors of dark cherry, tobacco, and oak followed by a smooth finish, this is something to consider. In terms of balance, this leans closer towards its wood notes rather than its fruits, but this has its time and place. It pairs well with red meats. BBQ and smoked meats work really well with this one, as the woodiness in both the wine and food work well together. A bolder charcuterie board with some smoked cheeses would also work really well here.
