2021 Les Dauphins Cotes Du Rhone Grenache Blanc-Viognier

A basic white blend that pairs well with fried foods

This white blend has some decent flavours, but are fleeting. The flavour notes of lemon, minerals, and slight hints of vanilla are good here, but they do not linger long enough on palate. After some time in the glass, a slight tropical fruit note comes through on the finish. There is a light buttery texture to this as well that makes it work well with fried foods. Overall, this is a good wine for certain occasions. This works particularly well with some of the most popular fried dishes such as fried chicken cutlets, deep-fried shrimp, or deep fried calamari.
