A harsh and unbalanced wine to avoid

This wine has primary notes of red cherries and strawberries, with a very harsh finish. Not sure if it is an oak note on the finish, but there is something there that is overpowering. This wine also seems to lack balance, making the overall experience lackluster. Overall, at this price point you can get many better wines that can work well. We tried pairing this with some basic pasta’s with red sauce, and even a thin crust pizza, but it somehow seemed to be worse with food.
